IFDAS Congress Host Proposal

Thank you for your interest in applying to host an IFDAS Triennial Congress and General Assembly. These Congresses have taken place every three years since 1982. The 17th IFDAS Congress will be held in 2024 in Las Vegas in conjunction with the Annual Session of the ADSA, and the 18th IFDAS Congress will be held in Germany in 2027 in conjunction with the BDO and other anesthesiological societies. We are now accepting proposals for the 19th IFDAS Triennial Congress and beyond.

Please complete the form below. As you fill out the form, here are some considerations for you to keep in mind.

HOST ORGANIZATION: This can be a single organization or two or more organizations that jointly host an event.

PROPOSED THEME: By an IFDAS Standing Order, the main title of every IFDAS Triennial Congress is "International Dental Congress of Anesthesia, Sedation, and Pain Control.” The host(s) of an IFDAS Congress is(are) free to choose an appropriate theme under that title. 

ESTIMATED PARTICIPANTS: Based on the experience of many IFDAS Congresses, the number of international participants cannot be expected to exceed 200. Care should be taken not to overestimate this number.

PROPOSED EXCURSIONS: These optional activities (outings, sightseeing, and/or entertainment) might be suitable for significant others and families as well as for meeting participants.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Please feel free to add any other relevant information, such as information about the venue, about the airport(s), and about travel in and around the city. Also, it will be helpful for you to suggest speakers, sessions, workshops, and seminars that you would like to include as components of the proposed Congress. 

FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE: Unforeseen events or circumstances are a hazard for any large undertaking. Please describe the financial “guardrails” that will ensure the well-being of your organization.
